Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. For most of its existence, the band has consisted of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional rock and funk with various elements of heavy metal, punk rock and psychedelic rock.

In addition to Kiedis and Flea, the group originally featured guitarist Hillel Slovak and drummer Jack Irons. However, Slovak died of a heroin overdose in 1988, resulting in Irons resigning.[1] Irons was replaced briefly by former Dead Kennedys drummer D. H. Peligro before the band found a permanent replacement in Chad Smith, while Slovak was replaced by up-and-coming guitarist Frusciante. This lineup recorded the band's fourth and fifth albums, Mother's Milk (1989) and Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991).

Red hot chili peppers live never play anything pre mothers milk. I think it is horrible. Hillel formed this band and shaped it into the amazing legends they are. I believe that the red hot chili peppers should do a tour in 2018. 30 years after the death of Hillel. They shall do shows dedicated to Hillel and use the 2 albums he did with the band. Like to support this message and the legacy of Hillel. Copy and paste this everywhere so they can see it. Thank You

I respect Hillel Slovak a great deal. He was a very talented guitarist and one of the founding fathers of my favorite band. I enjoy most of the songs that the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed with him. But to say that Red Hot is horrible just because they don't play his songs in concert is wrong. Although Hillel helped to start the band, they wouldn't be where they are without John & Josh. I agree they should include some of Hillels songs in their live concerts but they aren't horrible now.

Yes but what if they don't do it because its too painful for them or they feel it would be disrespectful to play the music he had a hand in without him there... They don't want to try to replace him like that, like most bands do as if that person meant nothing

He made three albums with them... Self-Title, Freaky Styley, and The Uplift Mofo Party Plan. Although he was not present for the majority of recording of Self-Title, he is still credited as a writer for a few songs.

That's how I heard of this song...and Check, and Ace of Spades, and I'm Destroying the World, and the Boy Who Destroyed the World...

Yeah. I learned a lot of songs from that game.
