Here's the thing, I'm glad they chose old blues music for this part of the movie, but I think that Robert Johnson's Me & the Devil blues would've been better & I'll tell you why; in this movie they gave "Skip James' Devil got my woman" a mystical sort of thing & there is literally a TON of Bluse Music Mystery & Folklore surrounding pretty much everything Robert Johnson Did...& that includes him dying...
