This was a men's standing dance from the Municipality of Tomil, which hosted Yap Day 2011. Over 50 dancers took part, including my friends Jeff Marbey and Ron Yow. This was a special treat because the language of the song is not Yapese, but a "spirit language" from Fais--perhaps an ancient language no longer spoken other than by one or two elders.
