A jury found an Afghan father, his wife and son guilty of killing three teenage sisters and a co-wife in what the judge described as "cold-blooded, shameful murders" resulting from a "twisted concept of honor" in a case that shocked Canadians. (Jan. 30)
@howie1962 I don't agree that these women were whores, but let's say for the sake of arguement that they were. So what? This man emigrated to Canada which is a free country. Your question"what ever happened to religious freedom" indicates that you do not understand freedom. Freedom is the right of the individual to control his own life, not the lives of others. These women had the right to be whores or marry a paki if they wanted because it was their lives and not there father's.

@howie1962 My friend: keeping children away from religious education just for so called modern education is a blunder. Muslims have to focus on both.
I have been with Afghan people for so many years till I have to come to UAE. And my personal experience says that Afghan realize so late. Now, recently Quran Pak was burned by NATO People in Bagram Airbase. You can see a strong protest and reaction from Pakistan but very little from Afghanistan.

I have no personal issues with Pakistanies but Mr Shafia did, so you have to trust his opinion. Mr Shafia tried to educate the girls the best he could not to be whores in the canadian society in order to protect the honor of Islam and his family

@howie1962 From you first comment; I got the message that these girls were killed just because on of them got married to a Pakistani and you are saying this just because of personal issues with Pakistanies. But, now I have researched and found them guilty of sins which definitely have punishment of death(Sangsar). But, this family shall be held responsible as well which put those girls in a society being run on rules of devil.
