  • can London top beijings?

    the answer..is no

  • @AlbertoMarioAA thank for your approval of the beijing games, but let leave the judgement of london until after the games. =)

Good luck londoners, give us a show!

  • @TheFlightLog West Ham FC Will own the main olympic stadium

  • Very excited especially to have a a place in the Opening Ceremony among the many thousands of participants, we are going to wipe the memory of China, fantastic as it was, into history and put a real British stamp on this.

  • I know this course is amazing i was just wandering why no one ever mentions the white-water courses ?

  • So what are they going to do with the stadium once the Olympics are over ?

  • That red structure off to the side of the Olympic stadium at 0:44 - is that the cauldron, or is it that "Orbit" sculpture I heard about a few years ago? (Or is it that the "Orbit" sculpture *is* the cauldron, and you're just being sneaky? :D )

It all looks amazing, and I can't wait for London 2012 - I'm hoping to make it to London later this year (after all the craziness has died down), and the Olympic park is definitely on my "must-see" list.

  • @sportygal1991 Any Olympics will undoubtedly have to have temporary venues built. The fact that there are so very few in London and that the basketball arena will be packed up and shipped elsewhere is testament to the legacy planning of London 2012.

  • just wait till you see some of the latest pictures of the Olympic Park meadows. They are full of wild flowers and the whole place just looks spectaular. This will be such a wonderful games. Well done London.
