  • Appreciate the feedback guys keep it coming!

  • Oh Yea no matter what your team is Im sure everyone can come up with a time when the refs have just flat out screwed them dry. Its saddening what is happening to the sport.

  • you guys are missing the point...I agree that the intent to blow the whistle is garbage, but the real issue here is Bettman removed the off-ice officials whose job was to help the referees in these situations...the goal judges. remember those guys? used to sit on the glass right behind the net in black blazers with the NHL shield on them and turn the red light on? in the 2006-07 season, he removed them from the glass. Unless they are replaced, this will continue to happen in the future.

  • @shadytnu24 ....I absolutely agree! Taking away the goal judges was one of the dumbest things ever done. Their only job was to stare at the net and watch for the puck to go in, it makes so much sense. I just don't understand Mr. Bettman sometimes.

  • @lilbuddworld I honestly have no Idea how this comment got on this video, i believe it was a response to a different video

  • @judopuns ...I'm confused as to who was in the crease and when the puck was at someone's feet? This video was commenting on a shot from outside the crease more towards the faceoff cirle. This was a straight shot to the goal not a scramble in front so I guess I'm just confused by your mentioning of the crease. Care to elaborate?

  • You hit the nail right on the head man. This isn't the first time the Wings have been screwed. It happened again a week later Nov. 27th against CGY(Cleary called for Goalie INT); Take you back to May 5th in Game 3 vs ANA, Hossa goal(quick whistle); 2-29-08 vs. SJ(Goal after puck hit netting); 2-10-08 vs. ANA(Holmstrom Goalie INT); 5-15-08 vs. DAL Datsyuk Goal (Holmstrom Goalie INT); that's six times that I can recall. It's really disappointing. There's replay for one reason..to get calls right.

  • Actually, it was a legit goal, the time people thought he "lost the puck" and then had no right to be in the crease, the puck really went from his stick to his feet, and if the puck is at your feet it counts as posession, which I can easily understand, and does make since, so the entire time he was in the crease he legally had the puck, whether it was at his feet or stick.

  • Took the words RIGHT out of my mouth, and then some... Great video :D

  • lilbuddworld for comissioner

  • Great video, you have a good sense of humor. Awesome poster. I'm a big Red Wings fan, and my jaw just dropped when no goal was called. Completely and utterly ridiculous.
