@regenerstej1995 it wasnt a bad zombie movie, but it wasnt doom, that why people didnt like it, a duck is not a shoe box and it is not closed minded to think that.... it was just a fucking zombie movie with a bunch of doom call outs...

I really liked this movie. I think that the story revolved around the symbolism of Doom and a semi-realist future (which I really like) rather than the anti-piety of the old games (which I also like). Most people probably didn't like it because of their closed-mind and/or lack of ulterior, "out-of-the-box" thought process. If anything though, I might change some of the actors and consider bringing in elements of the old Doom games (More or less Doom II and/or Doom TNT).

Its just the hardcore nerds that dont like the movie because it was not entirely true to the game, and it wasn't either. But I still think it was pretty badass, love the rock.

But I would have loved to see a dr betruger opening up hell itself haha.
