La-Mulana Minimal 01 - Let's Own La-Mulana

Yay, my first real series. Why let's own? Because my goal is to beat Hell temple with as few items as I can. I have no idea where it will go, but as long as I am able to progress, I'll record some videos.

So basically this is not exactly a minimal run because I do need some extra items to get to the Hell Temple. Thoses are the throwing knifes, the msx2 and every roms. I will also not use any glitch. The only item I need that I intentionally skip to add an interesting flavor to the run is the chalice. There is one single rom that I need the grail so unless I find another way to get it, I'll have to grab it at the very end. (It's the Pennant Race 2 rom, at the Temple of Moonlight B2, if anyone can help me.)

Otherwise I'll skip everything I really don't need such as the armor, the scripture, every life upgrades, the gauntlet, any whip upgrade, etc..

By the way I'll skip most of the easier parts since it's not a walkthrough.

For this video, I have already solved all the puzzles needed for the first boss and I'm heading to beat him with no life upgrade and no grail.

Don't you need 100% roms to get to the Hell Temple? I was actually able to beat Hell Temple with only the silver shield (I screwed up and locked myself out of the angel shield upgrade the first time through the game, so that sucked against the gargoyles...

And NO whip upgrades? Doing hell temple requires a particular level of insanity, but with just the starting whip? ...

I won't need the whip, the katana will do a pretty good job and yeah I'll need the roms so I'll get everything needed to get them and nothing more if possible.
