Afternoon Walk with 2-yr-old Ethan

When we still lived in Yakima - After a long day of work at the bank I would often come home to my 2-yr-old Ethan-Alejandro and we would take walks through our quiet neighborhood in the West Valley. We would walk down to the end of the street where our sub-division ended and then down the hill to an open field planned for future development of homes. Usually Ethan and I would walk around down there throwing rocks and exploring the terrain. This particular afternoon I allowed Ethan to walk down where he sat on a rock and came right back up the little hill. We walked back to our house where the sprinklers had turned on and since the late Summer warmth was still lingering I allowed Ethan to play with the water before we went inside and his mother took him upstairs for his bath. ;)
To this day we still take our afternoon walks. Not in the same neighborhood of course but we enjoy them nonetheless. Especially now that we are accompanied by his little brother Jason. - Enjoy
