I work in a prison and even law enforcement turn there weapons in before entering the facility. When you enter even a lobby of a jail there are restrictions on firearms for everyone. I'm not sure if I agree with the activists on this one.

@nedtorin you can't handle the truth sir. I live in the real world where people have rights. I have the right to defend myself wherever I go , including inside of a bank. why?? robbing the place is illegal . having a firearm with me to shoot the robbers who would kill me for merely being there if I were unarmed is my constitutional right.

@circusboy90210 Ok live in your world .....I can't explain things to crazy
-
@nedtorin false arrest is when an officer causes you to not be doing what you would normally be doing if you were not be interfacing with him/her.
-
@nedtorin I know it's not right how things are enforced and yes I know this horrible reality that you would continue to proporgate and keep citizens from having the rights we are supposed to have everywhere.
-
@circusboy90210 And that sir is why you are so ignorant, because you have no idea about reality.
-
@nedtorin there should be no bounds to a persons rights.period. being stopped and questioned?? that's false arrest. the only place a person should not be able to carry is inside the secure area of a prison or jail, everything else(including a plane) is fair game.
-
@circusboy90210 It is a right but it does not exempt anyone from being stopped and questioned. Also although you do have a right to carry, you do not have the right to carry certain places and in certain circumstances. So don't be fooled into thinking that your right to bear arms super cedes all other rights, laws and rules and be pissed when you get called on certain things.
-
@nedtorin open carrying is a right. period. it's cops like that which harass open carriers that make it hard on us, don't blame people who are standing up for your rights for the problem it's the enforcement that does not like us standing up for our rights. if your rights are being violated and your life in danger you have the right to kill that person even if it's a cop. false arrest can put you into the electric chair.

@circusboy90210 They were intelligent but did not and could not have though of all possibilities, they knew this too. Please show were you are getting your facts from? I would be interested to read the supporting research but I cant find any studies supporting your opinion.

@catnap24 you have a right to be armed no matter what state of mind your in. the constitution does not differentiate this, nor should it. a high person has the same right to defend themselves against gov tyranny as a sober person.
