While traveling through Texas in June of 2007 (via motorcycle) I stopped by the gravesite of Keith Green for a few moments of reflection and thanksgiving upon the 25th anniversary (7/28/2007) of Keith's passing from this life into the Presence of Jesus.

You may be confusing "first death" and "second death". Everyone will experience first death. But the righteous in Christ Jesus will never experience second death. :-) Check out the C.S. Lewis book: The Problem of Pain.

I know how that feels. Don't give up. God's grace is eternal, everyday new, and Jesus is the perfect saviour. Decide to follow him. In some times of our live we do not feel saved, but we are. We do not feel loved, but we are. When I feel far away from Jesus, I read John, Luke, Acts, Romans. Please, pray, and sing, and just open your mind toward god. He definitely will bless you, be sure. Keith Green was the first contemporary Christian singer I ever heard. I heard his music when I was about 13. He had already died. I remember reading his album cover that talked about his death in my Christian friend's bedroom while she was downstairs getting a snack for my brother and I. I was listening to "The Prodigal Son" & reading about his death weeping - I was not a Christian but I knew the song was true and it was my first real experience with Jesus. Thank you, Keith & Jesus & Betsy.
