Pogo - Dancing On Blades - Fan Video

Here is my fan video for Pogo's track "Dancing On Blades." I used footage from the Zhang Yimou film "House of Flying Daggers."

As soon as I heard this song, I immediately thought of this movie (primarily because of their namesakes). When I rewatched the film recently, I discovered that the two are beautifully matched. This track doesn't sample this movie, but they fit together quite well.

I remember Pogo and I were talking about remixing Martial Arts films and he mentioned how he once mixed Jet Li's "Fearless". Using sounds from the movie and even sampling the Mandarin language used in the film. Haven't heard it yet but I'd sure love to. Hope he's doing well. Beautiful Video.

Fun fact about Hero. The historical figure that Jet Li fights in Hero is who he plays in The Mummy 3.
