Of course she can't sing like Tarja. Anette simply has a different voice and different technique. She's not classically trained. However, that by no means makes her a terrible singer. Be a Tarja elitist all you want, but it's not going to change the fact that the rest of the band (especially Tuomas) is content with Anette's ability. It's a different approach for them, and that should be all that matters.

Anette is so sweet. Okay Tarja was better overall with a nice operatic style. But damn Anette is pretty darn decent lie and not as underwhelming live as Tarja sometimes is. Also Tarja was stuck up, Anette is lovely :)

seriously this girl has a great voice and really makes a good cover of the song (without Tarja all the old songs are like covers from another band)... but this is just NOT the NIGHTWISH that used to blow me away (personal opinion of course)

se supone que es soprano ¬O¬ eso fue una total falsedad xq si fuera en realidad soprano hecha y derecha con todo y estudios podría hacer los agudos de tarja(xq ella es mezzo y son mas graves sus agudos; experiencia propia) pero aun mas agudos conforme a su voz, pero no lo intenta

@MelodusDethicus Not terrible, ok. But you've got to admit which one fits better. Tarja was nightwish's icon, like what identified the band as different, not common. I mean, the kind of music changed with the singer.
