  • @rinceresource I say what because its a worn out argument? Whatever I've said is true for Trinity and why Trinity does things. If you dont dance with Trinity why would you know how the school is ACTUALLY run?

  • @IrishFlyingSquirrel that's a wornout argument. you do it because it's a trend, then end.

  • @LouisesPointOfView But Trinity does not. (PS the full wigs are for uniformity on stage)

  • @IrishFlyingSquirrel well I dance in Lochee for a traditional school and we compete against a school owned by Peter Thompson and all of his dancers wear fake tan and fake eyelashes and wigs and ballooned dresses.

  • @LouisesPointOfView I have been dancing with Trinity for 10 years and compete at the PC level for Feisianna, I have never once been told to tan my legs for a feis or a performance that was at a community center, school, retirement home etc.

  • @IrishFlyingSquirrel well why do they have wear fake tan in a well lit community centre building used for Feis' then?

  • @molzkat its on itunes! its called sevens i believe

  • @LouisesPointOfView the tanning is for dancing under bright blue stage lights for major performances. Blue and orange are opposites on the color wheel so the tan cancels out the blue stage lights and makes people look their natural color. they are not tanned in this video because its not a performance on a blue lit stage.

  • @kardancer1 This is the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance out of Milwaukee and Chicago, a girl (Meghan) who danced with the academy had cancer but continued to dance so the academy held a benefit to help pay for her treatments. She is still teaching today i believe.

  • @singkelly some of the girls in the solo dresses at the beginning are a part of the company, the younger girls are with the academy.
