Hi redsage29,
I have a question. How much did you pay for your Polar Heart Rate Monitor? also you said in the video you can get a heart rate monitor anywhere from $10.00 to $100.00. Do you know a website I can get one some where around $30.00 or less?? Really need one that I'm able to afford. Thanx :=)
BTW I just happened across your video...love your eyebrows!

I love the bodybugg...I think the bodybugg doesn't pick up on the steps, but it does pick up on the activity (calories burned). In my OPINION the BB is more accurate as far as calorie burning as opposed to the HRM. From my knowledge the HRM is an estimate of calories burned & the BB is more accurate. I wish the BB did heart rate too. I think there are advantages and disadvantages of each, I just wished there was something that did it all! In time maybe there will be! *crosses fingers*5 star vid

Thanks for this. I just got back from a sporting goods store to buy a heart rate monitor except the sales people knew absolutely nothing about them.
I almost bought the touch activated one, thinking it got the heart rate from the wrist area. Are you saying it gets your heart rate from your finger - is that how it works?
If that's the case... I may have to reconsider the monitor with the strap.

I believe there are two. One gets the heart rate from your wrist and the other is also worn on the wrist but it requires you to place your finger on a sensor to read your heart rate level. The ones that require you to touch the sensor SUCK! They are usually really cheap. My trainer uses the one that reads from the wrist and I think he likes it. I havent used one of those but I really like the one I have now.
