  • I met Johnny Cash in the airport in Nashville Tn. I was in my dress greens and he thanked me for my service. I siad thank you Sir.. Then I asked "how's your wife June doing I been praying for her recovery" his eyes watered up and he thanked me agian. we talked about 15 mins. one of the nicest men I ever met. I cryed the day he died..I have only cryed 2 times in my adult life. when my grandmother died and when Johnny Cash Died...I know I will see him in heaven.

  • ....and what a "path" it has been and obviously will continue to be....it's important to make sure the truth is heard and NOT the Hollywood sugar sweet versions. John Carter should be commended on his tremendous efforts, it can't be easy trodding down this "path", but his mother and father molded this man into someone very special and he is making them proud. thank you john carter cash!

  • i love june carter:)i waz 7 when she died and when her funeral waz on tv i cried but get this dident know why i waz cryin:(

  • I love this:)

  • I recommend this book, and further recommend it be read with "I Was There When It Happened" by Marshall Grant, and "Cash: The Autobiography". The three books shed some light on each other.

I've never met John Carter Cash. It must have been painful for him to write a good deal of what's inside the covers. One is tempted to think that commercialism, not candor, drove his pen. But it has an honest realism in its plaintalk (including grammatical errors), and I give him the benefit of the doubt.

  • @VTWIN2005 I love that story. What a sweet pea June was...and Johnny.

  • I think everyone is a mystery, even to themselves. You can trace yourself back and find the experiences that shaped your motivations and attitude, but I think a person's aptitude and core personality is hard-wired from the beginning. Then it's up to you to make use of what elementary traits you've been given, in a positive way.

  • LOVED THEM THEY WERE THE BEST

  • You're gonna love the book its awesome

  • That´s love!

  • Beautiful video :) Now I want to read the book!

  • Beautiful. I have already read June's autobiography (From The Heart) and am now going to read John Carter's Anchored In Love...it sounds like a marvelous book.
