johns amazing... but why does every single person ONLY compare him to SRV and Jimi Hendrix... is that where blues started... no... those guys used Albert king.., B.B. King... Muddy Waters... and they used Robert Johnson... i dunno why everyone starts in the middle all these guys are legends of their generations john will be of this one... nobody even mentions eric clapton and he was jimi's idol.. Jimi's dream was to play with eric.. and he did.. no point in arguing just love the music..

stop being a whiny bitch. noone needs to be shot for having an opinion on guitarists. and mayer doesnt compare to srv or hendrix. i can tell you that. both jj and mayer do the job better than we can so leave it that.

Hahahahahahaha. That was a joke, he wasnt being serious. He wrote all his songs. Well he co wrote some of the Room For Squares record with his partner Clay Cook but on the show he was just messing with those girls. Haha

I dont wanna argue but that seems kinda ridiculous. I love Johnson but he is no where near Mayer at guitar. Mayer is the best guitar player of our generation. Go listen to Out of Mind or Gravity live. Mayer will eventually go down as one of the best guitarists ever in my opinion.

srv and jimi were legends of they're time. same as john mayer is for ours. trust me he compares.
