Again, you are suggesting that if a victim of incest comes in for an abortion that authorities would not be notified. @sarcasticwhip What about all those girls who's mother know and do nothing. I had a friend who tried to hang herself at the age of 13 because her father was raping her and her mother did nothing. So once again I say that as long as an adult knows it doesn't need to be the childs parents. You have to understand not everybody comes from your walk of life. There are some really fucked up situations in the world and young women need protection from such situations.

i am so glad this never passed. if my step dad had found out about my pregnancy he would have killed me. literally. I am so thankful this didn't go through

@CanadianLulz In the case of incest, do you think that mother isn't going to find out when Law Enforcement is informed and husband is arrested? Or are you suggesting that the clinic would not notify LE when such a crime is committed? If an abortion is simply performed and no one is notified, what do you think is going to be the future for that girl? Will the incest now stop? No. In fact it is more likely that dad will be bringing the girl in for an abortion so his crime can stay hidden

I vote hell no. If a young lady wants to keep it from her parents it must be for a reason. Could you imagine if she was a victim of incest by her father and they told her mother? I think that as long as a reasonable adult knows then that should be sufficient. We seriously need to protect the rights of the victims of abuse and harassment. A muslim girl might get honor killed if her family found out she had an abortion. Think about it!
