• The purpose is to develop functional strength for the movement pattern of lunge and twisting. A dummy pass is the performance of a passing movement without releasing the ball. This drill prepares you for rugby stepping and twisting movement s like passing, catching, and off-loading in contact.
• Procedure; Take a step forward with your right leg until your thigh is parallel with the ground. At the same time twist your upper body to the right and dummy-pass the ball. The twist your upper body to the left and dummy-pass.
