KCS ran its Southern Belle passenger train between Kendleton and Victoria, Texas during several days in July 2009. The Southern Belle is notable for the 3 unit set of F units that serve as its motive power.
It was operated to commemorate the completion of 84.5 miles of new trackage between Rosenberg and Victoria, Texas. This video was filmed July 17, 2009 as the Southern Belle traveled north to Kendleton, which is the site of KCS' new intermodal facility for the Houston area.
Is that a MARS light on the engine?

Was glad to see that line placed back in service. Now I get to see KCS trains on the UP Lufkin sub. Mostly grain trains and mixed manifests. We now have 3 railroads using that track. Plus Angelina & Neches River at Lufkin and TSE at Diboll.
