... I want to introduce another projector and have two layers (my table had 3 glass panels!) that overlay each other to give a slight-amount of depth. Right now I'm researching how 3D works and the math behind it. Eventually I want to get it up to 3-layers and use MMD to simulate the 3D and kinect movements but the windows SDK of kinect isn't available yet and I have much to learn before then ^^

I made something similar to this at home using the glass from a glass table that I no longer need, a $50 projector from walmart, a laptop running ubuntu and kinect. The quality isn't good (VGA) and the contrast is terrible, there's probably some sort of reflective coating that you can place on the front of the panel but I haven't looked into it, but in the end it took me about a week to figure it all and I'm not a serious programmer, just an enthusiast.

@Jacquelyn104 Oh shit...Why can't they just tell us man...I could use a lazer gun.

@Jacquelyn104 last year they revealed a laser that burns upto 3 times the heat of the sun, this is what they use to create underground bunkers, the laser melts the rock. it was in a news wrticle from a bbonified news supplier. the thing that worries me is "what replaced it"

Now if only we could use that for economic prosperity, intelligent resource distribution, and world peace?
