Interesting.

Sad... but predictable.
Those on the losing side of a debate have no other recourse but to attack and demonise the messenger as they attempt to deflect attention away from the facts in order to further their own corrupt agenda.

OBama is creating Obamaville's all over the country thanks to his SPendthrift, socialiust, Anti-American, pro-Muslim, pro-illegal alien Communist policies.

But unemployment is rising because of Bush, not Obama.
Obama hasn't been in power long enough to move the employment numbers down from the economic disaster of Bush. In another 8 months, we'll start to see Obama's real influence, but yes, he has already stabilized unemployment, and it is now going back down... so great days of prosperity are ahead.

Yes, Bush caused quite a mess, glad Obama has quickly turned things around.

Some people are really just hard on their luck. Plus some people get unexpectedly evicted from their apartments and end up living in their cars. Stuff happens. Yea your right too about allot of the requirements to get a job. You can't just toss em your shingle and they give you a call, now the online applications are full psychological evaluations... One I filled out for Hollywood video was longer than the paperwork I had to sign to join the Army...

LOLZ The fatest growing community in colorado! Oh the political irony is so thick I could cut it with a knife.

"You need good credit, money, an address to get a job..."
Exactly- and the majority of those requirements are the result of legal mandates imposed by our current kleptocracy.
Long gone are the days when a formerly free people could legally institute such simple contracts as: "I'll split your wood and shovel your driveway in exchange for 10 days room and board." without having to fear bringing down the wrath of the state upon their heads.
For those who hath understanding: I am not a number..
I ride my bike every day past these camps and have talked to these people. There is plenty of beds at the shelters but these people can't stay at them because of their addiction to drugs or alcohol. By staying at these camps they are able to continue with their addictions. If this is what they choose to spend their assistance money on so be it.

That's your typical stereotype, and it's not fair to put every homeless person in the same bag. Not every homeless person sleeps in parks, under bridges, pushes around grocery carts full of empty soda cans, or is an alchoholic or drug addict. If you haven't been homeless before, then you don't understand at all what it's like or what it takes to get off the street. You need good credit, money, an address to get a job, and a place and get other things you need.

Oh, and you need a phone too so prospective employers can reach you. There's alot to it than people think. Homelessness is not a vacation. Yea, SOME people choose to live that way, but there ARE people who end up in that situation because of circumstances that were of no fault of their own. It doesn't take much to end up on the streets.
