Learn how EMSL can benefit your research using resources available in our Cell Isolation and Systems Analysis (CISA) Capability Group. The purpose of CISA is to provide researchers an environment where they can use multiple tools to study one biological system. When we have all these tools under one roof, it really can support a systems biology approach, which can be much more powerful than if we use only one instrument here and there.

CISA offers users tools to isolate cells from complex populations or environmental samples for subsequent, integrated analysis. Learn more at http://www.emsl.pnl.gov/capabilities/cisa/.

  • A very impressive array of instrumentation. At first I got this confused with another CISA, the Certified Information Systems Audit. I wonder how much of the description would be understood by the average High School graduate? Or even a collage graduate? I suspect the value of this capability is under appreciated by our average congressional representative.
