I love Dave. Talented musician. Greatest drummer? No... not really close. Check out Troy Wright for some perspective. It's hard to deny Danny Carey and Navene Koperweis.

Any love for Buddy Rich? I don't care who's the best. They all have their own styles. I don't know of any drummers besides Grohl who started a hugely popular band and played guitar instead of drums. So talented.

I think Dave knows he's not the greatest drummer ever. But I would have to say he has most definitely made a lasting mark on drumming and he easily has the best presence of any drummer I've seen.
