This ought to do something to you. THIS VIDEO IS NOT FOR KIDS! Sin is adultery. Maybe this will help you see it the way God does. Hope it wrecks you forever and burns down deep into your soul.

  • Is it OK to eat pot or drink it instead of smoking it like for medicinal uses. I know taking medicine isn't a sin. Only when a person starts using it for fun.

  • @Ca1iGurl31 Taking medicine is a sin if God told you not to. For me, God told me never to drink alcohol ever again. So for me it is sin. It's not about the legality of it or the method of getting it in you - it's about OBEDIENCE.

  • Well. I got the message, but its in my psyche the wrong way. It just tickled me.

  • @bochkia I pray the Lord would make it untickle.

  • @fotm1 i was on the methadone program for 12 years. Last year, not long before Christmas, i felt the Lord tell me to stop taking it. It was something i was terrified of ceasing, the withdrawl is worse than heroin itself. Anyway, i did stop, i suffered very little withdrawl, and am now not only free of opiates, i am about what our Lord wants me to do and be. i just thought i would if HE convicts us do something, it is so possible, it is actually easy, GOD BLESS your brother in CHRIST, cameron.

  • That message was kind of graphic, but I seriously understand where you're coming from. God Bless you.

  • @SolarLightV1 Hi. You might need to fast for like three days and tell God you can't stop an addiction by yourself, please remove it. Keep doing three day fast until God removes the sin from you. He will remove the sin if you are willing to make the effort. I was struggling with an addiction and did a few fasts. After the fast I finally told God I could not give the addiction up and he delivered the lust to do the sin. I hope I helped. God bless you.

  • Thanks Doug, Bless you =) needed to hear this today.

  • @SolarLightV1

The Lord made it clear to me to stop smoking and i found it a real battle. i managed to stop when i went away from for 4 days. i prayed and asked Him to help me. i was with freinds. then after four days i just kept resisting the temptations. the temptations come from satan and when we give in satan makes us feel even more guilty because we've failed again. I tried to see the big picture of how satan was keeping me back from God through my addiction and asked God for a way through.

  • @zimbwe8991 For the record, I'm very unhappy about it and have pestered Him quite a lot. Which He says is vanity and to leave it alone. But I'll tell you what, if (when) all the food runs out and everybody is starving - I can go a lot longer without food and water than practically anybody else! I'm like a camel with the hump on the front! :-)

I'm not bothered that you would ask, but the underlying point seems to be that only a PERFECT messenger can call people to repent for sin. That's wrong.

  • @zimbwe8991 In the early days when I was toting a couple thousands of food a day for the pantry, it helped. Now I'm stuck on the computer and phone - and I'm 44 years old. Everything is slowing down. I'm the thinnest person in my family, so I'm fighting genetics too. I don't believe it will stay like this. People have had dreams and visions of me much thinner. I lost 70 lbs in six months in 2005. He can do that again any time. I think God likes me affable, approachable, like santa claus.

  • @zimbwe8991 That's a reasonable question & one that I have ASSAULTED God with many times! I am heavier than I would like - & perfectly willing to find out that I've been disobeying! But I'm not hearing that. We have sort of a perfect storm of problems. One is that the way He has me fast trains a body to never let go of anything. I eat at crazy times - though I don't each much, usually two small meals a day or one largish one. I don't have time for the gym and I'm mostly sitting at a desk.

  • @fotm1 I never said that came from the bible but my statement was correct. We just have to follow Him the best we can and strive to be more like Him everyday. And what is sin to you may not be sin to your brother.
