@11335569 For one, you do not put power into the magnet, you put power into the voice coil. The voice coil is an electromagnet. The prefix electro meaning electric, therefore when there is power running through the coil, its magnetic force is the same pole as the magnet, forcing it outwards. And have you ever seen a neodymium magnet? Some TC woofers have them, they look like tweeter magnets, but neodymium is VERY strong, therefore magnet size doesn't affect BL. Rather coil gap and composition do
@masterwolf1212 ya man, you got it very wrong magnet size has a lot to do with performance, bigger magnets= more force being applied to the voice coils, assuming your giving the magnets the right power for there size...
@KoolKat204 What in the hell are you talking about? There is plenty of sound dampener and vibration dampener in mine (2011 GT), even on the removable side panel compartments. Also, the enclosure has dampening in it, and the enclosure is thick plastic, and the actual enclosure is separate from the outer casing you see. Its thick. And how is the woofer 'under powered.' Tell me how you came to this. And the wiring is fine, the amp never clipped, and I NEVER get voltage drops, so whats the problem?
You have no idea what you are talking about ..... The sub is underpowered and the alternator and battery ground wires are tiny. The sub enclosure is made a plastic and there is no sound damping anywhere in the vehicle. Don't get me wrong is is an all right sound system but over priced and weak.
your glass is gonna crack y would u face them toward window, always face towards your back if possible
