supposedly inspired by/dedicated to Hendrix. the box set of Jack Johnson has a couple takes of Miles and company tackling the head from Hendrix's Who Knows, which is amazing. I think Corea plays the Hendrix role on a Fender Rhodes and just goes off.

this song started it all for me.  Jack Johnson and Right Off and ofcourse In a Silent way,....but this one is just the meanest one.

Miles Davis is as unpredictable as Monk thru this period. and Mclaughlin is somehow playing some Delta Blues!
