@Jooaannnee life? Think about the possibilities and if you had been in that state before than you know how fragile people can be. So do us all a favor and think and listen to that little voice in the back of your head called your conscience before you starting stuff on the Internet. P.s. Not EVERYONE that is depressed feels the need to kill themselves. You really need to look at the big picture and not be selfish. Ridiculous how heartless people can be now days. Just ridiculous.

Do you realize that just by posting this, someone could have agreed with you and said "You know what, this girl is right. I should just kill myself because nothing is going to get better." @vladildikan It doesn't always lead to suicide. I cut myself for a long time, but I helped better myself and got out of that negative environment that I put myself in and obviously I'm still here.

Self harm isn't always a call for help, & it's more common than you think. For the most part, it is NOT a prelude to suicide, it is merely a way that some people cope with the pain they feel inside. It is no more self destructive than an alcoholic or a drug addict, just less socially acceptable. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, & I respect their right to have it, but i have more respect for those who attempt to educate their own ignorance before passing judgment. *hugs*

self-harm is a call for help, before they reach the point of suicidal. if someone is cutting themselves you should try to help and tell somebody as well. as far as depression, it is often caused by low seratonin levels, which can occur for any number of reasons.
