Guys, if you've never seen "In the Heights," y'all better hurry your little butts over to NYC. It's one of the best, most touching musicals I've ever seen, and the music is so amazing! Every song comes right from the heart.

Oh, and I don't know if there are any High School Musical fangirls out there [I myself am not one], but Corbin Bleu is pretty much the star of this show. He's not the original, but he's the one who's touring right now. So yeah, when I was in NYC last weekend I was about thirty feet from him. Don't know if that gets anyone excited, but I thought it was kinda cool. I dunno.

I absolutely love this track, because you can feel the frustration and desperation behind the lyrics. It kind of reminded me of Kyouya, who despite all of his efforts and connections was next to useless when it came to rescuing Tamaki. The best he could do was to send Haruhi after him, but that was fine because he was doing all he could. He also struggles with his father and the expectations he's being forced to meet, trying to please him while at the same time trying to spread his wings and become his own person, just like the character singing this song.

So, I hope you guys enjoy this little tidbit. I've got some more stuff in the works, but I'm about to go get my hair done, so now's not really the time. PROM IS TONIGHT, GUYS. Man, I'm so excited. My dress is gorgeous, my shoes are gorgeous, I'M gorgeous. xD

I would love to ramble to you about how much I love this video, but I have a character limit.

Let's just say that not only did it twist my heart and make me want to fly to NYC IMMEDIATELY, but it made my best friends cry.

The line that hooked us was "I'm sorry, I'm going farther".

... Never once have I held interst in watching Ouran High. It looked like a fluffy, over-comical, plotless shojou with too many bishies and a typical tom-girl. Now by some random spur I have clicked on this video. After watching 2:04 of raw, epic video I can say only one thing: Goodbye, I AM OFF TO WATCH THE FIRST EPISODE NOW.
