Hannah our 8 yr old Jack Russell spends her pastime at Lake Martin fishing. She has even caught a small bream but I didn't have my camera handy. She's obsessed with fish

@gabel305 ... They sure are.... Hannah is now 11 1/2 and I hope she lives to be 17!! She is a special part of our family! She fishes for hours at the time... Glad that you've experienced the joy of a JFT owner!

Jrt is an amazing breed - mines almost 17 and still likes to run and play with our 6 year old Sheltie

This is the exact same thing both of the Jacks ive had do! Both would spend hours at the steps by the lake diving in for the sunfish. Even caught some on different occasions. Jacks are talented lil dogs!

not what she was bread to do, but you might be on to something there! keep the camera rolling! my jrt. is 10, he loves to swim in lake michigan, but he does not fish. she seem serious about catching a fish, and a crazy jrt has the presitance to not give up! good video thanks for sharing

Sorry for just now responding to your post! Hannah is now 11 still fishes for hours at the time. JRT's are super smart and make wonderful family pets!

Thanks for your kind words! She is now 11 and still does the same thing! She fishes for hours non stop! She would rather fish than eat... LOL!
