a psychaitrist, who is supposed to work with mental problems, and be understanding, acting like that. We live in a Philip K Dick novel.. I went through all the same stuff you did.
I too have lost faith in the medical proffesion. If it's not legal drugs that are mixed wrong and can kill you or even vaccines that are topped up with stuff even most doctors don't know about never mind the effects on people these extra ingredients may have. Or in your case where the doctors lie and decieve just to earn a wage from the drug companies commision based bullshit. I'm sorry, but when i'm sick, unless I get carried to a doctor or a hospital, I'm staying clear and researching altrntvs
DAM BRO I REALLY FEEL FOR U... ONLY TAKEN BENZOS A FEW TIMES..BUT I WAS HOOKED ON OXYCODONEFOR A FEW YEARS IT WAS A CAKE WALK COMPARED TO YOU..I FELT HOW YOU FELT BUT ONLY FOR ABOUT 8 DAYS THEN I WAS NORMAL AGAIN......ILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER BENZO AFTER HEARING THIS
I find it funny how there is so much anti tobacco campaign anymore, dont smoke! dont smoke! bullshit.. Your safer smoking your whole life then taking fucking medications on a daily basis. So my qeustion, why is there new fucking drugs on the market everyday? Most people are stupid enough to take this shit, myself included, never take zoloft for depression because you may be permenetly deppressed after that.
Thanks for sharing your story. It means a lot. I had severe post withdrawal toxicity from Klonopin after being on it for 10 years. Thanks Doc for prescribing something without telling me the potential dangers! Each day during those 10 years I got sicker and sicker. I developed mental issues I never new were possible. Withdrawal made me a vegetable. No one will understand what we've been thru! 9 months off now and still suffering. Medical community doesn't get it and/or denies it. Sad stuff.
@larssoeren I have been through the withdrawal, and I almost think it might be better to keep taking it, but maybe slow it down a tiny bit... if you can. Maybe keep slowing it down, make that a mindset. But it's gotta be really really slow. I quit cold-turkey, and nobody should EVER do that, EVER.
what can i do to get away, i dont see anyway, whats the best way to stop taking benzo, i tried everything, i dontwant to die when i have my xanax, butwihout ....
You are very brave for telling your story. It sounds horrible and I was not suprised when you mentioned that you became suicidal. I take five psych meds and after being tortured by akathisia (which required several med adjustments) I am happy to report that I feel pretty good. But I have no hope that I will ever be off these medications. I am especially worried about klonopin. I am glad that you are not as tortured as you were and are getting better. Sure sounds like hell to me.
I was taking upwards of almost 14mg a day of Xanax, I went into a local detox here in Florida on June 4th, after spending a night in the hospital of course. Then proceeded to check myself into a 4 month in-patient program here in Florida. This was the best decision I've made in my 14 YEAR addiction to Xanax. I knew the withdrawels were gonna be bad because of my history. I went through almost 4 months of hell, had to go to the ER a few times during my stay at the rehab. This was not easy.
