boring band? you just don't understand this sort of music. it is more lively to me than rap, hip hop, and metal - all i hear is noise for a lot of bands under those genres. this enlivens my soul, and therefore is more far from boring than I can describe in words.

I can't believe he did this song and so many other Black Flag songs in such a strange way. Because of covers like this, my black metal band is covering Needle and the Damage Done by Neil Young. No joke.

@jaysin77 Because you prefer 'art' to 'entertainment'. - Which a lot of those genres tend to be about. Metal is about virtuosic musicianship over the actual song... solo's are more important... Dirty Projectors are about a kind of collective sound being formed out of every member. It's more democratic... I guess... which I find the most appealing part.

Dirty Projectors isn't a boring band, It has great beats, especially, their Album Bitte Orca.
