I think Bonamassa is dry, personally. Yeah, he's got licks but I find him boring. I acknowledge that he was roasting for a 12 year old but I don't hear deep blues in his playing, at least not in his more recent material. I don't know his mid-career work, so I won't comment on that material. However, his Royal Albert Hall concert was absolutely boring, even cheesy.

Just saw Joe in Portland a couple of weeks ago. He was on top of his game. By far my favorite blues player!
