@JonThm A textbook from 14 years ago is not current. For that to be true, there could be no significant advances in medical science or technology in over a decade. A textbook from 40 years ago is even less current than that. Note also that the book has been updated several times since then. Why would they reprint the same book many years later if it didn't offer anything new? And if you think the age of humans means something here, let me ask you: what is Pliny the Elder's cure for incontinence?

What you said isn't self evident. Where is your proof? Where is your research? How do you justify this statement? Have there been tests done in properly controlled experimental environments where this treatment has been compared against a placebo and standard treatments? What side effects would a drip of this stuff have? How does it work to cure every single disease? What is your qualification to make such a statement? What level of education in medical fields do you have? Too many blank spots.

@JonThm That textbook is 14 years old. Why rely on that particular version when there have been timely updates to its content and structure frequently since that time with the latest in 2009? Are you sure that nothing has changed in over a decade regarding interleukin 2 and 4 and their possible applications? Moreso, if this was in a textbook, why did no one who used this book but you ever think of such a thing?
