I find it sad that people don't understand "out" music in the great US of A where jazz was born. How much is corporate America brainwashing us with this regurgitated music on pop radio?? For the naysayers, please check out the rest of Beck's Xroads performances or his Ronnie Scotts show and maybe you'll be enlightened.
Yep.. that's why all the advanced Berklee grads are playing with Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Beck? The only Berklee grad bass player I can think of off the top of my head is Myung, and she plays with a lot more feel than he does, though he's probably (at 20+ years older) technically better.
"Visions Of The Emerald Beyond" was the record...the whole album was fantastic. The second version of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. This is a version of the piece "Eternitys Breath" from that album.
Hey kids....nice to see you're watching....this is actually a cover of Mahavishnu Orchestra.....Beck tips his hat to John McLaughlin. Incidently, I believe it was written before Guitar Center existed.
