Razer exactmat didn't perform good at all the vespula and steelseries cloth performed great.

Moving the mouse 1mm off the razer exactmat caused issues so it didn't work good with the mousepad.

Drawing straight lines horizontal and vertical posed a problem compared to the mx518. This mouse may over analyze the surface but I also tried multiple DPI settings and maybe at 300 dpi it showed the best. The mx518 at 1600 and the 1800dpi model both outperformed this mouse.

  • And by the way, nice review. You are doing what I want to get into at some point. Good job man :D * I just ordered my RAT 7 from dell $77. :D * cant wait till tuesday

  • @AdamantForce Thank you we appreciate that. Glad the video helped out. We just do it as a hobby always looking for new products to test out. Not a bad deal give us feedback when you can. - Joey

  • but also you can see that his machine has a bit of latency delay. from the looks of it i would say hes running at 35fps. anything under 200fps is not responsive enough

  • @AdamantForce This is emulation for ps3 that is input delay. But the product itself has a delay after lifting 1mm before it starts tracking or even responding again. Madcatz confirmed this issue is with the exactmat. This is 60fps. I pc gamed for years from 60 to 120hz I wouldn't say anything under 200 isn't responsive enough.

  • my question is how do you expect you mouse to turn for you when it's off the mat????

  • @oxmate My 6 year old optical mx518 is moving right now and its over 1/4th of an inch off the mat. Just an observation if say some people like using very low sensitivity they may have a habit of picking up the mouse to move it continues to track.

  • @AdamantForce you are so full of shit :L anything under 200 FPS is not responsive enough :L The difference from 40FPS to 500FPS is nothing, no visual difference at all. But i know your going to argue so i will just let you believe what you want.

  • i have the rat5 and it doesn't have that problem...

  • @DiscoCj you will have to!

  • @SpamBanjo YES IT DOES mine does too... its only with hard mouse mats like razer vespula.

  • @TEAMGODdotNET Ok I could tell that it was a tiny bit off. And yes I too was limited to a 60mhz HDTV for a while, but recently I acquired 3 20" LCD flats rated @ 220mhz (from work, shhh!) and boy, does it make a difference to me. Things, "feel" faster. I know its not common, but I notice the systems micro-stutters more than others. ( i know about the eye only recognizing around 30-40fps. I just got a 1st hand experience of high-fps gaming with no screen tearing. (Love it!) :D
