An excellent example of the natural language learning and communication that goes on with signing deaf children. Thanks to ASL used in our home, our son (who we brought home just 5 months ago when he had zero language) is already able to visit with him about our trip to China and he understands basic concepts of our answer. I can't imagine doing this without the ability to communicate! Let your Deaf kids sign! Give them a "voice"... a way to gain understanding about the world around them!

aww such a cute kid. I'm deaf myself and I I would like to adopt a deaf orphan from India (where my family is from). I am glad to see that deaf people have adopted deaf children.

hi im from california and i have a son who will be 5 soon and he is deaf, my son and i have almost no communication, although he goes to school at home we only know the basics and maybe a little more. But other than that nothing else. I dont know what to do...He's been deaf since he was 10 months old and i am truly at lost. Please help!
