This is a time-lapse of a repair on my girlfriend's D300s. Her Compact Flash card pin was bent to the extent that it needed to be replaced. Repair performed by master technician, Steve Sweringen of The Camera Clinic.

Wow. I was mad about having to pay $225 for a fixed bent pin on my Canon 7D. Now I feel like I'm getting a deal. Thanks for the vid.

The sensor needed to be removed to gain access to the CF pin housing. While it was exposed, the sensor was cleaned.

The repair was successful. A bent Compact Flash card pin was removed and replaced with one from a donor Canon SLR (40D if I remember correctly).
