  • Every Easter I telephone my daughter and play this song on our old Victrola over the phone.

The year I posted this on youtube.com, I did it because we were away in Chicago on Easter that year. I recorded it before we left, uploaded it and when we were in our hotel, I opened it up on our laptop, telephoned her and played it on the laptop.

Everyone else who enjoyed it on youtube.com is a bonus for me!

  • That 70s show

  • Very fun song and great to see it played on this wonderful old machine

  • This is so creepy I could totally see this being like playing while dudes like cutting up people into the shape of eggs or something in a scary movie.

  • Tradition is much better than the garbage out there today! Thanks for sharing.

  • I purchased a lovely Easter Globe with the wind up on the bottom. The song is just lovely. Thank you for sharing! And Thank YOU BromoBrown for the idea, as I will play it for my son on Easter this year as you did for your daughther. Many Blessings!

  • Beatrix Potter wrote the best-selling children's book, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" and published the year 1904: Iconized in the movie Miss Potter starring Renee Zellweger. A story that is very popular and still sold today.

  • I of 31 appreciate this song through ancestors. Thanks for allowing me this feeling, which, even though not studio quality, was much like the way my grandmother shared it with my mom. Thanks.

  • The most sellingist song ever written.

  • cooleo, our version is better nowadays though.
