So much for bipartisanship or compromise. They would get more than 90 percent of what they say they want, but if it means we tax the rich even one penny more, they would rather the country go to hell.

He raised his hand not because he is against raising taxes, but because that policy is not what he would even propose. He would go for a deal that involved cutting both military and social programs, something both sides could agree upon but neither wants to accept right now. The question was really a dumb one because it's attempting to paint an entire picture of a candidate based on one random policy suggestion.
