This debate is probably not my place, because you all seem more serious than I do. But the reason there is so many holes, little character development for some is because Capcom rushed the awesome men who were making it. Capcom didn't make it, they just published it. It was a little stand alone group of guys who really badly wanted to make a Megaman game. It would have been much better if Capcom didn't rush them.

show me ONE old anime with the clean animation and intense story modern stuff like TTGL and CG have. ONE.
As an example of what ISN'T as good, see Evangelion.

I have to say as well that the zero series was bad. Making a character seem more "cool" doesn't give the game any extra "points" whatsoever, and zero was already an anti hero type character since the beginning of the X series. I ONE thing I loved about zero series was zero's zaber ability.

I agree vladiator the zero series was bad storywise, and code geass was a bad anime. Then again alot of these new age anime series are very bad, kids these days just don't know what true anime series are you know. They don't make anime like they used to in the 90s.

90s? oh god you're all OLD nerds. that explains so much. Welcome to the future.
The 90s anime were all boring and badly animated.
New stuff like Gurren Lagann and Code Geass are crisp, clean, and intense.
and you seem to all think the title of "megaman" can't be applied to Zero. It can.
Zero was a cooler character and a more ambiguous (which is automatically better) person. X was killed off to show the series was serious. I for one am glad they moved away from childishness.
new always > old.

You're taking this way to seriously dude...and yeah anime from the 90s is alot better than today's anime. Most recognized animes were in fact made in the 90s.

Define better. Well recognized does NOT equal GOOD. *points at World of Warcraft*

You would know that new doesn't equal better if you really know anime. Warcraft is bad I agree.

I was thinking what vladiator100 said.
