Made by the senior satire class at the York Preparatory School in New York City, "Benched" is a mockumentary that captures a week in the life of David Diagoo, York's star benchwarmer. Diagoo faces insurmountable odds in the days leading up to the final game of the season. Will he be able to get into the game and get noticed by college recruiters, or will his dreams of the NBA be shattered when the clock strikes zero?
The entire movie is about 30 minutes long, and this is only part one.
Starring Andrew Dafnos, Zach Murphey, and Ross Indyke. Directed by Nat Magee and Will Axelrod.
