Another of my favourite MAN tracks from the album SLOW MOTION and what better way to listen to it than set to video footage shot in a genuine South Wales valley. These mini-waterfalls and rivers are from Nantymoel which is in the Ogmore Valley. Enjoy!

Line-up / Musicians
- Micky Jones / guitar, vocals
- Deke Leonard / guitar, piano, vocals
- Ken Whaley / bass
- Terry Williams / drums, vocals

LYRICS
She's such a lovely lady the girl with rainbow eyes
She thinks she's going crazy but that's just her disguise
She goes through fire and water gets hurt with people's lies
Some people take their pleasure, some people take their pain
She thinks too much, it hurts her, and she can't stop the game

The girl who loves all nature loves sunny skies that last
Loves shadows in the forest, loves walking through the grass
Her body's hot from loving like a bitch she sighs with joy
She's got her love to give you if you'll open up your heart
Her best friend died from loving the girl with the rainbow eyes

She's such a lovely lady the girl with rainbow eyes
She thinks she's going crazy but that's just her disguise
She goes through fire and water gets hurt with people's lies
Some people take their pleasure, some people take their pain
She thinks too much, it hurts her, and she can't stop the game

  • I was reading an old NME review of this album - and they really slate this track - implying there's no need to do a ballad and they really let themselves down by doing one!!!

  • @NeilThompson30 Who slated it, the NME or the band themselves? I think Slow Motion had a couple of great ballads but then I've always enjoyed ballads. Shame. If it was the NME then it doesn't surprise me as they usually slated most things I enjoyed. lol

  • God Bless Man and all who have sailed her....We are all better for it

  • Back to my youth again

  • The lyrics are wrong....

  • It was the NME - they loved Man - but really didn't like this song - the review of the album was spoilt by their attitude to this song actually - the NME was usually full of crap anyway
