@soccerchick362 if that verse is what is keeping u from coming to know The powerful living God Jesus, then im sorry u have let your lack of understanding stand between u and eternity w your God and maker. I hope u kno that the evil american form of slavery was not like other forms of slavery in history, prior to that there was slavery however it carried a different meaning, women were not raped, men were not hung on trees and ppl were not told they were animals and bread or treated as such

@soccerchick362 ppl who were poor would sell themselves into labor so they could b provided for. the bible commands people to take care of their slaves and provide them freedom after a certain amount of time. there is much more in the bible about slavery, than this verse, commanding owners not to treat them harshly ect..

@soccerchick362 it was a common practice in many societies in those days and was not forced. Times change, the bible is not saying anything except providing rules of how to go about a common practice in those days.

@inaiandi i read your bible and it seems to promote slavery, "However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property...You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT). how can you believe in this bullshit?

I understand why people say "god bless america" because in the 1700's that's when god decided to pick a team and if your were born in places like India, China, Middle East countries, ect...are all going to burn in hell.

@scuntpunter420 read the bible call on the Lord with your whole heart search for Him until you find Him, and if u do this I assure you will find Him, He will speak to you and you will understand Him. Then you will understand this video and the obedience to God that you call indoctrination.
