What's your favorite Jean Shrimpton photo? For me, it has to the photo David Bailey took from the March 1967 Vogue issue in which Shrimp is in a full Spanish goucho suit (shirt, scarf, jacket, pants-likely the baggy flare ones), has her hands on her rounded goucho hat (her hair was stuffed inside), and has a look like she was tripping on a chair. Last summer The Guardian did a interview of her and it was heartbreaking: She threw away her career to become a wife, mother, and working stiff.

I met Jean in 1972 or so. Most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Still is.

@essi8757 Yes, it was not Jean. And to the naive people who think that pictures were not retouched before Photoshop, you're completely incorrect. At around 1:03 see Jean on left, before her nose was bobbed. Rare to see a photo of her like that.

Wow, thanks for the memories. Remember, there was no Photoshop then to cover flaws. She was incredible.
