Thank you. Youtube is the most popular internet site in english andI take every opportunity to comment with an opinion or perspective that can reach thousands of people. I'm going into biochemical research myself, but I just enjoy being part of the debate.

I dont think he is trying to imply that those things are at fault only trying to imply that this culture makes violence a masculine trait sometimes in a glorifying manner and in the few already disturbed individuals who hate women this adds fuel to the fire. That's how i see it but i cant speak for anyone.

I cant believe you juxtoposed battered women, and action movie stars. That was a pretty fuild transition implying a link where one just isn't there. What kind of guy hits women because Bruce Willis took on a building full of terrorists?
One that has no respect for women, that's who and would only have seen that film by coincidence as nothing in said films advocates violence towards women.
And Pro Wresling, target shooting, Army and Casablanca!?! What kid of story you trying to paint here?

90%+ of violent crime is commited by males doesn't mean 90% of males commit violent crime, especially not towards women. The minority of this is by sick men who are the worst kind of bully, taking out their anger on those who dont stand a chance.
Acting chivalrous is not seen as good enough as it comes with the baggage of male chauvenism, which is another masculinity problem. The anger itself, (even if disipated harmlessly in video games or movies) is seen as a threat.

Good Pointe... But your waisting your time spewing your opinion on youtube... You'de be better off in the non profit sector, or maybe on CNN... I just hate to see such intelect go to waist... Sorry... I don't mean to sound bombastic.
