If the license plate says "ca exempt" they can do what they want, not have insurance, pay registration, get it smogged, they can even drive on the sidewalk.

@Tactikalguy1 im not sure about the usa but I know in england that the cops are allowed to park in the nearest possible space to the scene of the incident in order to eliminate chances of escape.in ireland where i am i think were the same as england not sure tough

this isn't a racial knock, but you undoubtedly sound Mexican... go back there and film THOSE cops... I bet they do "more interesting" things than the GPD! The only reason I watch your videos is because I like to comment on how worthless they are. They prove nothing. A court will never do anything to these officers, you're not going to change their behavior, and it certainly doesn't make me, or 99% of the rest of the people watching these videos feel differently about cops. Emergency vehicles are subject to emergency calls for service. If there is a Robbery, Shooting, Burglary in progress etc. the officers need to get there quickly. If they park in the three story parking structure, take the elevator and then go to the emergency call it might be too late.

Its hard to tell, but it appears that all traffic lights are red.

As all the lights appear red, it appears they may be malfunctioning and there are people who appear to be directing traffic.

In this case, the officers would be responding to a "non emergency" (depending on local policies) action and if no other parking was available, they be be "legally" parked, however would depend on the local laws.
