I run an ad blocker because of performance-hogging, browser-slowing ads.
I have no problem with being served relevant ads if advertisers are able to respect my time and my CPU. But since they can't or won't, at least so far, They get the big sledgehammer of an ad blocker applied. Bad apples lead to collective punishment and a suboptimal ecosystem. I don't have time to selectively unblock advertisers with reasonable behavior. It'll stay that way until advertisers "get it".
