What is a good weight to use if you have an slightly injured shoulder? I'm new to kettlebells and can't lift anything too heavy. I'm 5'10" and 152lbs.

can i do this with a dumbbell?

Yes but the awkward feel of the KB is what makes it so unique and beneficial in this movement. Notice how many different positions the shoulder girdle is forced to balance and stabilize the kb in... Try a set with each and see for yourself. Thank you commenting!

Hey man,
THanks for posting the vid.
I'm trying to figure out a kettlebell routine. Is this an exercise that can be done every day or should be done every other day?

When you start out doing KB's they tend to make most people pretty sore so design a routine where KB's ( and any other strength training) are done every 3-4 days. In between this, do no weight training, maybe cardio and flexibility. After say 2 months redesign with KB's more frequent.
