guys can anyone tell me where to find the suzuki outboard model number. i think it suppose to be somewhere on the engine yet i can't find it

Suzuki now has 115s in counter rotating with 25" shafts, but not 20". They have 140s counter rotating w/ both. I thnk they are very good motors, but your V-4s have a sweet (albeit loud) sound. I've always thought OMC V-4s and old loop charged Mercury V-6s have the coolest outboard sound, and you can buy a lot of gas for $16-20k.

does any one know if suzuki do counter rotating outboards for twin set ups?
looking at upgrading to 4 stroke i have twin
v4 115hp evinrudes atm they are way too loud and use 20L per Hour each motor.
Fuel eccononomy & refinment is what im after.
hi there, i have the same outboard, what is the fastest speed it does, thanks.

41 mph @ 5500 w/ light load and a Suzuki stainless 22", 39 mph @ 6200 bouncing on the rev limiter w/ aluminum Solas 19" 4 blade. I don't run consistently wide open, ever, and the solas handles big weight and rough seas much better, so that is the one that stays on.

nice video's, what speed do u think i could get out of a 225 suzuki on a 19 foot triton bass boat

Two stroke 225s typically test @ mid-70s on the bigger Triton, but that extra length also helps offset some engine weight. I would expect @ least 70, but when you get in that range, understand that propeller selection and jack plate length / height can mean a 10 mph or larger variance. The faster the boat, the more the setup matters.
